    What we'll do

We will walk through Regensburg’s charming Old Town and take a look at its famous St Peter’s Cathedral . As you wander around the city you can sense the history surrounding you. We cross the Stone Bridge - medieval bridge that for a long time was the only way to cross the Danube here. Everywhere you turn you will find beautiful views of the Regensburg Old Town.

    About Regensburg
Regensburg is in a very strategic location. Here three rivers meet - the Danube, Naab, and Regen. Before modern times crossing big rivers was a complicated matter. In the 12th century a stone bridge was built across the Danube in Regensburg. This made the city even more important bringing wealth through trade. Luckily the Old Town took little damage in the Second World War and is today under UNESCO World Heritage protection.

  • Stop 2: Pilsen

Adventurous tour with a great guide

We had a really nice trip with our guide. We had a lot of interesting stops. Along the way we could ask hem everything about the history or random questions about the country. She really is a knowledgable guide. Recommended to all travellers, young to old, everyone is welcome.

Great tour, highly recommend!

Highly recommend it if you are travelling from Nuremberg to Prague or the other way around! Great way to get from one city to another and see some things on the road+you will learn more about the country and the people. The guide was friendly and knew a lot of stuff, also funny and could answer all our questions. There were 6 of us in the group and this is perfect since there are not too many people. We went on another city tour with this tour operator as well and were very satisfied with it, so I highly recommend travelling with them! All the guides we had were kind, knowledgeable and funny.
