Join our fun and easy-going road trip from Budapest to Prague. We’ll visit the beautiful Old Town of Györ, discover the capital of Slovakia - Bratislava, travel through the picturesque Mikulov Wine Region, stop at the UNESCO-listed Lednice Place, and roam around Brno - the second largest city in the Czech Republic before making our way to Prague. We’ll bring you to places you’d never be able to visit in one day and help you discover the route to the Czech Republic in the best possible way.

Our knowledgeable local tour leaders take a small group, maximum of 8 people, for a fun-filled 12-hour road trip from Budapest to Prague (click here to book this tour the other way – from Prague to Budapest). You will learn about the history, culture, and most importantly the people of three countries - Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic in one day.

We’ll start our day by heading to Györ in Hungary, a city with a Baroque style Old Town that will remind you of a fairytale picture book. Next we’ll head to Slovakia and visit the capital - Bratislava. We’ll discover more about the region’s history as we roam the streets of the Old Town and admire its many spires.

On our way to the Lednice Palace we pass through the picturesque Mikulov Wine Region that is known for some of the best wines in the Czech Republic. We’ll admire the Lednice Palace that is famous for its gardens and as the former summer residence of the royalty of Liechtenstein. Last stop before Prague is Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic. We’ll hear the legends and stories of Brno and maybe even see a dragon before heading off to Prague, our final destination.

"Thank's for a great day trip"

We had a great trip with our guide who was incredibly informative, friendly and really made the tour. The stops were really varied and we were thankful to have seen some unique sights and cities along the way. Thank you again for a great day trip and we would recommend this to anyone.

"Great tour"

Interesting places to stop. Social and friendly guide who gave good (2 not too long) history lectures about the places. Highlight of my trip to Central Europe.

"A wonderful experience, new places, new friends!"

We have had a wonderful trip from Budapest to Prague with an incredible girl. She has been tireless, funny and really competent. Her enthusiasm was engaging and she showed us places that otherwise we would never have visited. We travelled with our girl, 5 years old, and it was nice for her too. Happy to have chosen this way to travel from one city to another.

"Amazing, useful and well done"

Just a great tour not to mention an informative and traveler-smart way to get between Budapest and Prague. We saw so many things and just had a wonderful time. It doesn‘t get better than a great tour with a great guide. We really recommend it!

"Nice tour, nice guide!"

Our guide is friendly and professional. The tour is value for money. Highly recommend for tourists who want to travel from Budapest to Prague.
