It’s all about the journey!

This is the best way to get from Munich to Prague. Sarka (pronounced “sharka”) is an excellent driver and tour guide. We got a solid introduction to the Czech Republic before we even crossed the border from Germany.

    What we'll do

We will walk through Regensburg’s charming Old Town and take a look at its famous St Peter’s Cathedral . As you wander around the city you can sense the history surrounding you. We cross the Stone Bridge - medieval bridge that for a long time was the only way to cross the Danube here. Everywhere you turn you will find beautiful views of the Regensburg Old Town.

    About Regensburg
Regensburg is in a very strategic location. Here three rivers meet - the Danube, Naab, and Regen. Before modern times crossing big rivers was a complicated matter. In the 12th century a stone bridge was built across the Danube in Regensburg. This made the city even more important bringing wealth through trade. Luckily the Old Town took little damage in the Second World War and is today under UNESCO World Heritage protection.

A day well spent

Communication with this company was amazing. They went out of their way to accommodate our every need. Zuzanna made the difference in our day! She shared interesting facts about what we were seeing along the way and then was very knowledgeable about the stops that we made. She walked us around to all the main attractions and viewpoints. We felt like we made a. new friend that day!!!

The only way to travel

This company is top-notch. Professional, on time and did what they said. Peter our driver was amazing. Spoke perfect English and was so informative. This company is better than five stars. A side note. We had booked with them three years ago right before covid hit. We had to cancel all our travels and stay home. Sidetrip tours was the only company that stepped up and refunded our money. That’s just how good they are. You can’t miss with this company. Great job and thanks again to Peter. Great Tour

We had a great tour with Petr. We had a great time travelling from Munich to Prague and he had lots of historical information to share with us. He also had great recommendations for food along the way. He was really easy to get along with and had some good recommendations for things to do after the tour ended
