The Palace and Grounds, about 200h, are under UNESCO World Heritage protection due their unique architectural landscape.
About Lednice
Lednice Palace and Grounds is a fabulous example of wealth the nobility had in Europe in the 19th century. The Lichtenstein family had huge landholdings in the area that they had gathered gradually over the centuries through conquering, marrying, and buying. It was their loyalty to the Habsburg dynasty that raised the Lichtensteins to great prominence in the Austria-Hungarian Empire.

Wine from this country and especially from Moravia is world famous. The tradition of growing grapes here dates back to Roman period in the third century. Yet Mikulov region grew famous for wine in medieval times. And despite the many wars that have raged in Europe in this area the vineyards have never died out. We deeply appreciated the tour it was as if living in a dream. We had such a fantastic time both ways. we took the trip to Vienna and in two days after exploring out on our own took the return tour. Zuzana took us to equally as interesting and beautiful sights on the trip back. We highly recommend taking this trip, she knows all of the great spots. It is definitely a must and if we go again we will go this route for another tour believe me it is worth the money! Our tour guide Zuzanna was simply awesome she was very knowledgable, information, personable, kind and a simple treasure to be with. She made superior choices on places to eat which were very affordable and great food and service. She is a good driver as well we felt very safe in her driving skills. I just wanted to take the time to pass this on to you. She is definitely a keeper! She does an excellent job and does a great justice for your company. Thank you we enjoyed every minute of our trip. Sincerely Naser and Patricia Shahrivar
Our trip was fantastic from pick up to drop off. Our guide was very professional & knowledgeable. The stops we made were beautiful even when it rained! Jakub had umbrellas for us, so that was helpful. We were introduced to some very good Local dry red wines on one of our stops. I would highly recommend Sidetips. This was so much more enjoyable than riding on a bus or train. We saw towns we never would have thought of seeing on our own. Thank you! Jakub’s the Best.
