Join our fun and easy-going road trip from Prague to Berlin. We travel through the picturesque towns of Litomerice and Moritzburg, the magnificent city of Dresden, and discover the hidden gems of Saxon Switzerland National Park. We’ll bring you to places you’d never visit in one day and help you discover the two countries in the best possible way.

Our knowledgeable local tour leaders take a small group, maximum of 8 people, for a fun-filled 10-hour road trip from Prague to Berlin (click here to book this tour the other way – from Berlin to Prague). You will learn about the history, culture, and most importantly the people of both, the Czech Republic and Germany.

Start your eventful day of exploring the city of Litomerice, also known as the garden of Bohemia for growing delicious fruit and sweet grapes for local wine. Then, after arriving to Germany, get ready to be blown away by the magnificent views to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. In Dresden, take a look at the extravagant Zwinger palace, learn about Dresden Old Town and its legends and then sit down for a delicious lunch (not included).

In the afternoon enjoy a short stroll around Moritzburg Palace to admire the gorgeous views of one of the most magnificent examples of baroque-style architecture in Germany, before heading towards Berlin.

"Hands down the Best Route to Berlin"

Our guide, Alex is friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be with. The entire trip is amazing!

"Boring travel day turned into a great part of the trip"

The trip was just as advertised. Very happy with it overall! Our guide was fun and knowledgeable and seemed like a friend by the end of the day.

"See some sights off the beaten track"

This was a brilliant way to squeeze some extra sights in to our Prague & Berlin holiday! Much more fun than just taking the train. Our guide Jakub was excellent, informative, friendly and helpful at all stages of the trip. The vehicle was comfortable. For me the best bit was the stunning Basei Bridge and surrounding countryside, but Jacob's obvious love of history made Dresden a delight. Highly recommended!

"Peter our leader"

Nice, leisurely drive from Prague to Berlin. Pleasant stop at Litomerice. Moritzburg was a beautiful stop. Warm, sunny weather brought out the crowds. On to Dresden where we had lunch and walked around to see the major sites. Since we couldn’t stop at the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, Peter offered to drop us off at our hotels in Berlin. Great drive

"Scenic and relaxing travel choice"

This was definitely a much better way to travel from Prague to Berlin. Don't expect to have a lot of time at each stop, but it's still better than sitting on a train/bus for four hours. Dresden is an amazing city - I absolutely want to go back and see more! We unfortunately couldn't get to the national park because it was a nice day and everyone in the country decided they wanted to visit too! Still, Peter made the day lovely and had great anecdotes for many places we visited. I would definitely recommend this to friends, and would choose to travel this way again in future!

"Two thumbs up!"

On time pickup. Dependable customer service. Comfortable ride. Fun, bubbly, patient and accommodating guide (thanks Alex!) A Sidetrip that should be a main part of any Prague to Berlin trip!

Meeting Point

The tour starts in front of EMA Espresso Bar (Na Florenci street 1420/3, Prague). Look out for a minivan with Sidetrip logo. Our guide will meet you at the marked meeting point.
