Join our entertaining and easy-going road trip from Prague to Munich. We travel through the picturesque Old Town of Regensburg, visit the most famous castle in the Czech Republic – the Karlstejn Castle, and taste the original Pilsner beer in Pilsen. We’ll help you discover two countries and take you to places you’d never make it to in just one day.

Our knowledgeable local tour leaders take a small group, maximum of 8 people, for a fun-filled 10-hour road trip from Prague to Munich (click here to book this tour the other way – from Munich to Prague). You will learn about the history, culture, and most importantly the people of both the Czech Republic and Germany.

Start your day by taking a stroll in the cute little town of Karlstejn, where you can see one of the best examples of a gothic style castle – the Karlstejn Castle. It is the former palace of the most famous king of Bohemia and the Holy Roman Emperor, King Charles IV.

Then, by lunchtime, we arrive at Pilsen, the city famous for its original Pilsner beer. Sit down for a delicious meal (not included) and enjoy a cold pint of fresh Pilsner, before taking a walk in the picturesque Old Town of Pilsen and learning more about beer and its history at the Pilsen Beer Museum.

In the afternoon, learn the legends of the gorgeous UNESCO World Heritage Old Town of Regensburg and take a look at its famous St Peter’s Cathedral before heading off to Munich, the capital of Octoberfest.

"Had a blast back to Munich"

Zuzana is an awesome guide. She is very caring and attentive. From the beginning, she made sure we were comfortable and tried to make sure we were on schedule. She was very informative on each stop of the tour. She gave us a great overview of each place we went to. I really like the way she interacted with the whole group and giving us tips which beer or food to order. She is wonderful tour guide. We were so lucky to have her. She is also thought about our comfort - like dropping us off to find parking. It was cold that day. Despite the weather not cooperating, we had a great time. Also i wanted to tell you how much i appreciated this service - one way sightseeing tour. it gave us an opportunity to see stuff along the way instead of being in the train. This one way tour gave us a chance to see parts of Czechoslovakia and Germany. We enjoyed the food and the beer along the way. Overall, it was great experience. more power to your company and wish you the best.

"Excellent "

Muy buena experiencia , el guía excelente. Me encanto !!

"Nice and pleasant trip"

We had a very pleasant trip with Theresa, The countryside is very nice during the autumn and the stopovers in the different cities are quiet enjoyable, although there is not much time to do a proper visit. In any case this option to move between Prague and Munich is 10x better that train, bus or airplane.

"We loved Alex!!!"

Alex was a wonderful guide. Her vivacious personality was infectious and we really enjoyed hearing about her country of origin and customs. She was very knowledgeable about the area in which we traveled and shared information about our stops and went above and beyond to ensure we learned much on our trip. She was a very safe driver and never lost her cool in heavy traffic. Thanks Alex for a very memorable excursion!

"Educational trip to Munich"

My wife and I joined five other travelers for our trip from Prague to Munich led by Petr. In fact Petr was a friendly, relaxed guide and driver and provided interesting history and insights relevant to our visits to Karlstejn Castle, Pilsen and Regensburg. Lunch at the brewery in Pilsen was very good. The van was comfortable and the stops were frequent enough to avoid boredom or too many stiff joints.

"Great way to travel!"

This was such a fun way to travel between cities...much better than bus or train. Peter, our driver/guide was right on time, and our group of 7 was fun. Made three stops for sightseeing, and Peter was very knowledgeable about the history of the areas. Highly recommended!
