Cover three countries in most amazing tour in one day with Alexandra!!!

Alexandra our tour guide had tons of information about Budapest, Vienna, Slovakia and every other country surrounding them. She has travelled herself worldwide and has an amazing personality. This was the best money that we spent during our trip, we covered the distance from Budapest to Vienna and went to places that we would have never figured out ourselves. Alexandra gave us an amazing food experience too, we loved every minute of the tour. We highly recommend Alexandra as your next tour guide.

    What we'll do
We stop by the Danube River to take in one of the most impressive churches not only in Hungary but probably the whole of Europe. Esztergom Basilica is a masterpiece of sacral architecture from the 19th century. We have a chance to admire the Classical style church from both banks of the Danube River. We also stop for lunch (not included) in the city of Esztergom.

    About Esztergom
Esztergom Basilica is located on the Danube River in the city of Esztergom. This city was the most important city in Hungary in medieval times. It was a royal residence and the heart of the state before Buda’s rise in importance. The many invasions to this area, first by Mongols in the 13th century and later Turkish invasions in the 16th and 17th century destroyed the old Esztergom. The city has been rebuilt again and again, attesting to the resilience of the people who live here.

A great way to see the country side and hidden treasures while meeting fellow travelers

A very enjoyable between Budapest and Vienna via Slovakia. Our driver Alexandera was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about each place we stopped at as well as answering any questions we had.

Sidetrip Tours is a Winner

It was a pleasure to spend our transfer day with Levente. Because we had done a previous transfer with Sidetrip tours, he was flexible about altering our route from Budapest to Vienna to avoid repeat visits to some of the same stops, and I think he enjoyed exploring the alternatives as much as we did. A highlight was a lovely lunch at Tata castle overlooking the peaceful lake. We also happened to stop in Sopron during a town festival. He dropped us off in a convenient location, set our phones so he locate us and went off to find a parking place in the crowded town. It all worked perfectly and he found us a little while later to lead us to the sights in the town. I highly recommend Sidetrip tours!!!
