"Exploring the less trodden path"

This is an amazing idea we found on the internet. Instead of travelling by train/coach from point A to point B, you get the chance to explore beautiful towns/villages on the way. They provided a spacious van and the group was small (4 passengers in this trip) which made the tour relaxing. Our guide was Csenge on this trip who was absolutely amazing. She gave us a good overview of the history of the towns. We sampled local wine and food with her as well. The tour was well paced and relaxed. We reached Vienna by 7 in the evening. They are reasonably priced and we did another trip with them. Would definitely recommend.

"Hidden gems!"

Our lovely guide Csenge was really accommodating throughout the trip, introducing local cuisines and culture to us. SideTrip is a great way to discover hidden gems along the way to your destination.

"The perfect way to travel Europe's cities"

Highly recommend this tour to get you from Budapest to Vienna. Our guide Csenge was fantastic. A great way to see some of the towns and sites less frequented by other tourists.

"Winning combination: Budapest to Vienna,Transport and Guided Tour "

We were met at the pick up point by English speaking Andrea, who led us to the van. We expected a van with a SideTrip logo to be waiting at the pick up point, and we experienced some uncertainty until Andrea arrived. There were 4 passengers in all. We visited 3 sites on the way and Andrea was very knowledgable about the historical events and architechture. Sopron was especially interesting. It was a very hot day, and she made an effort to keep us out of the sun, and provided water bottles. We asked to arrive in Vienna earlier than originally planned, and the driver was willing to drive us as close as possible to our hotel.

"Exciting road trip"

Generally was pleasant and interesting to learn about some of the smaller cities outside the most travelled route and if you have the time to spend the entire day

"Enjoyable trip to Vienna"

Our driver and our guide was so good to us, always smiling, that's what we need as a traveler, our guide Chanka was so informative, she shows us every corner we need to see and told us about the history of the person or the places, she is not rushing us for the whole journey. It is a good way to take this bus to Vienna with the tour, get the chance to see the country side of the Budapest ,worth it.

Meeting Point

The tour starts at Erzsebet Square (Erzsébet tér), opposite to the Hotel Ritz-Carlton, a few meters from the stop of bus no 16. Look out for a minivan with Sidetrip logo. Our guide will meet you at the marked meeting point.
