Wonderful transfer from Salzburg to Vienna

We recently took 3 inter-city transfer trips with sidetriptours and they worked out great for us. We had luggage and the point-to-point hotel pick-up and drop off really helped save us time and effort and on top of it we were able to sightsee places on the way ! One of the trips was salzburg to vienna with a stop at Hallstatt. We visited the salt mines and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide Zuzana was super. She did the drop/pickup at just the right spot in Hallstatt so we were able to maximize the tight schedule. Also, at Vienna we had pre-booked a evening bus tour at 6:30pm. As we were getting delayed, Zuzana was kind enough to drop us off at the bus-tour and then she helped drop off all our luggage at our hotel. We are very grateful as we would have certainly missed our vienna bus tour if not for her help! She and sidetriptours certainly went above and beyond!

Great and Friendly Service

We used Side Trip Tours to go from Munich to Vienna with a stop at Mathausen about midway. Side Trip was easy to coordinate with, very communicative, and flexible. We did all online and through email. Our driver, Vera, was very good. She was friendly, helpful, and navigated the long drive well. She even gave us extra time at the memorial. Would highly recommend this company.

Best Decision of our Trip!!

Booking the Munich to Vienna (as well as the Prague to Munich) tour with Vera was probably one of the best decisions we made our entire trip. We were truly immersed in the real culture of Central Europe because of Vera’s expertise. She gave us knowledge that only a local citizen would have. She answered every one of our questions from culture to the economy to politics. She also adjusted our schedule, so we would visit more attractions that we were interested in. She gave us a detailed history and significance of the landmarks we visited, too. If we would have visited Salzburg ourselves, we would have only understood a fraction of the richness of the culture compared to being guided by Vera. This was definitely one of the best experiences we had in Europe!
