Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor

"Unique, but comfortable way to travel between Vienna and Budapest "

We absolutely loved the tour, which gives you an opportunity to visit the places you normally wouldn’t even know about. You get a knowledgeable guide and a comfortable vehicle with a driver for a small group to share. It’s totally worth spending couple extra dollars and hours, then just taking a train or a bus. Andrea was our guide and she was excellent.

"Great trip"

Very knowledgeable tour guide Andrea. Learn a lot about history of the country and the people

"Excellent way to see sights between Vienna and Budapest!!"

We had a wonderful day exploring small towns and sights in Hungary on our way to Budapest! Our guide was wonderful- warm, engaging and full of information. We highly recommend this trip!!

"Best way ever to travel from point A to point B!"

The trip from Vienna to Budapest was awesome! Our guide Andrea was the best: extremely nice, knowledgeable and fun! She provided us with great information during the whole trip, and was even very considerate and always gave me some time to translate what she said to my 80-year old father (with whom she was also extremely kind and patient). The places we visited were very interesting, and we definitely would not have had the chance to see them, had we chosen the traditional bus/train/plane. I would recommend this kind of tour to anyone who has to travel from one city to another and wants to make the most of it! Five stars to the tour as a whole, and six stars to Andrea, who, besides being a very professional guide, is such a kind-hearted person that, upon arriving in Budapest and seeing we were having some difficulties finding our address there, went out of her way and walked us to the door of our apartment. Thanks, Andrea! All the best to you!

"A Great Adventure!"

I would highly recommend using this tour group. We took the tour from Vienna to Budapest and it was a great journey. Ildi was our guide for the day and we she was very informative regarding our destinations. She was also a wealth of information about general questions regarding Austria, Hungary, and Budapest.

"Comfortable Experience"

The car is comfortable but the sightseeing spots are not really attractive.

Meeting Point

The tour starts in front of Cafe Mozart (Albertinaplatz 2), next to the Tourist Information Center. Look out for a minivan with Sidetrip logo. Our guide will meet you at the marked meeting point.
