Doing a Sidetrip tour is a great idea. You don't waste any travel time from one country to another because you get to tour so many places on your way there. Our tour guide, Jakub, was great too! He arrived on time. He was knowledgable about the places we went to. He was very patient as well and we didnt feel like we were being rushed from one destination to another. We would like to do Sidetrip tours again in one of their other routes some day.
Silvia our guide was amazing! She was very informative during the stops, great tour thumps up!
Our tour was amazing. Our guide was Slovakian and gave such amazing insight into life behind the iron curtain and the current political contexts. She was so quietly knowledgeable and intelligent and a great storyteller, this was an absolute highlight of our European vacation and I would plan a trip around Sidetrip tours next time. My 14 year old also found it very engaging and compelling.
Overall pleasant and great experience! Jakub was our guide, very informative and resourceful in his sharing throughout the journey, overall journey was very relaxing and reach Prague quite on time. Jakub also goes extra mile to help us take photos to capture all the beautiful scenery throughout the day! Thanks again for the excellent customer experience!
We had a most relaxing sightseeing trip with SIDETRIP TOURS. First we love our guide Peter who not only drives well and patient but also speaks good english and accomodating. The 4 stops were great sightseeing spots. Its the best way to enjoy more sightseeing with the trip and its highly recommended
Amazing guide and a totally comfortable trip. We had a great German lunch in Dresden and the view at the National Park is breathtaking. Thumbs up!
Our guide, Alex is friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be with. The entire trip is amazing!
The trip was just as advertised. Very happy with it overall! Our guide was fun and knowledgeable and seemed like a friend by the end of the day.
This was a brilliant way to squeeze some extra sights in to our Prague & Berlin holiday! Much more fun than just taking the train. Our guide Jakub was excellent, informative, friendly and helpful at all stages of the trip. The vehicle was comfortable. For me the best bit was the stunning Basei Bridge and surrounding countryside, but Jacob's obvious love of history made Dresden a delight. Highly recommended!
Nice, leisurely drive from Prague to Berlin. Pleasant stop at Litomerice. Moritzburg was a beautiful stop. Warm, sunny weather brought out the crowds. On to Dresden where we had lunch and walked around to see the major sites. Since we couldn’t stop at the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, Peter offered to drop us off at our hotels in Berlin. Great drive
I took the Side Trip from Berlin to Prague and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Peter was an excellent guide and driver. All of our stops had a lot of variety, and Peter made sure we had enough time to see everything. His stories about the history of the tows were bother funny and informative. The sandstone cliffs were my favourite, and we got there with enough daylight to appreciate them. I highly recommend Side Trip instead of a bus or a train, as it was Much better
This was definitely a much better way to travel from Prague to Berlin. Don't expect to have a lot of time at each stop, but it's still better than sitting on a train/bus for four hours. Dresden is an amazing city - I absolutely want to go back and see more! We unfortunately couldn't get to the national park because it was a nice day and everyone in the country decided they wanted to visit too! Still, Peter made the day lovely and had great anecdotes for many places we visited. I would definitely recommend this to friends, and would choose to travel this way again in future!
Trip was very nice. Comfortable ride, Driver was friendly, English communication was excellent. Overall we liked the way he explained about tour sites.
On time pickup. Dependable customer service. Comfortable ride. Fun, bubbly, patient and accommodating guide (thanks Alex!) A Sidetrip that should be a main part of any Prague to Berlin trip!
We took this trip between Berlin and Prague, with Peter on October 2019. At first I was somewhat concerned because there were eight of us in the van including Peter and lots of luggage. Peter very adroitly loaded all the luggage, and there was more than sufficient room for all of us in the van. Peter was an excellent driver and we never had a concern for our safety – even when it began to rain. Miles flew by, the rain stopped and before we knew it we were in Moritzburg. It was a lovely little town, with a very large castle. Peter talked a little about the castle and gave us some time to see the inside. We then went to Dresden. We had a light lunch at a little shop, then went on a walking tour of the old part of town, stopping for pictures and explanations of the sights. Peter provided commentary for the tour. Next was a top at Saxon Switzerland to see the beautiful scenery. Peter dropped us at a central location, and then retrieved us about 1/2 hour later-sufficient time for a visit. Lastly, we stopped at a small town just inside the Czech border. Giving us time to go to a bank and get Czech money and get refreshments. All in all, it was a great way to travel between the two cities AND do a little sightseeing as well. Peter always was very clear in his instructions, where we would meet and at what time. Safe, clean and comfortable. I found ‘SideTrip’ when I was on the webpage for ‘Prague Behind the Scenes’ tours.
This trip combines travel with some sightseeing and if you need to get from one place to another not too far away this beats the train or flying. Our driver and guide Alexandra was efficient, competent, knowledgeable and friendly. We felt more like being a part of a family than a business. The places visited provided a good cross-section of what was available - given the limitations of time and route, while our guide was full of information and patiently answered all our questions. Highly recommended.
We took the side trip from Berlin to Prague with our guide Pav. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the locations Pav took us to were fantastic. My husband particularly liked Dresden while I enjoyed Bastei and the small Czech town Pav took us to. Pav gave us some tips on Prague and also helped us when our taxi didn't arrive and she went out of her way to make sure we were safe. I would recommend this way of getting from one location to another while adding in some great stop overs and guided information. Thanks Pav for your help and follow up information and photos.
Triin, our guide, was very knowledgeable; gave us so much information about the places we visited and other places in Europe. She answered all our questions, be it about the place or history. Dresden and Elbe Sandstone are very beautiful places... without this tour, I don’t think we would have seen these places.
Decided to take this tour instead of train ride to Prague since I had the whole day and figured I would never see what's in-between the two cities if I went right to Prague. Jakub was our guide and he was great. Very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the areas we visited and along the way. For me, it was just enough time in each place although for some the stops may have been too short. The other passengers in my van were students, couples and friends (a total of 8 passengers). I was the only single in the group but never once felt like I was on my own. My only recommendation would be to add some narrative while in route from stop to stop.
Myself my wife and two daughters decided to take the oneway Sidetrip tour from Prague to Berlin. What a surprise. Coffee at the pick up point was excellent .Our guide was informative along the way and very knowledgeable about all the places that we visited. We stopped at the Bastei rock formation.Well worth the breathtaking views before heading into Dresden for a tour of the city and Lunch. Then onto the Moritzburg castle. We thoroughly recommend the tour.
Our tour was with Sarka from Prague to Berlin and although it was raining it was the perfect way to travel and we enjoyed all of the stops. We learned a lot and the whole experience was smooth, fun and educational. Keep in mind your guide is also your driver so there’s plenty of time between stops to ask questions and learn more about sights. Would definitely do again!
Sarka led the trip in a good way. I enjoyed the trip.
My trip from Berlin to Prague involved only two guests plus our tour guide. Overall a positive experience and great way to get from one city to the other! Tour guide/driver was very good. Only suggestions would be to leave a little more time at the national park as we didn't quite have enough to do the paid portion of the cliff walk; and to send some kind of email confirmation a day or two in advance of the trip to reconfirm the arrangements and that all is good to go!
Best way to spend a day knowing interesting places instead of wasting your time waiting in airports or trains stations. I could notice than Alex, our tour guide, is a helpful person by nature. She loves what she does.

Alex was an excellent driver and tour guide for our holiday between holidays. We were totally impressed by our walk around Dresden. Frauenkirche is a story of human perseverance. Good stops. Nice countryside. Good talks with Alex. She was full of fascinating stories. Loved it all.
Good value for travelling between cities. Without sidetrip, stops along the way would have required separate day trips. Enough time to visit sites and reach destination on time
El servicio fue excelente, las guías muy amables, los lugares de visita bien seleccionados, lo que permitió que el viaje fuera en partes, por lo mismo menos cansado y sobre todo la oportunidad de conocer interesantes lugares.
When it comes to sightseeing tours, I think it's the Guide more than the Geography, and the People more than the Places. Alex did a wonderful job with the low-pressure tour up to Berlin. She answered our questions, was flexible with the groups' interests, and handled a tough traffic situation getting through Berlin well. If and when we're in Europe again, we'd happily go a Sidetrip tour to go between cities. Thanks Alex - whatever you're paid, you deserve a raise! :)
We were a group of 5 adults in a private van tour. Our driver, Peter from Czech rep, picked us up from our hotel (Hilton, Berlin) and drove us to our hotel in Prague. And the side trip from Berlin to Prague was amazing! We saw the awesome Dresden churches and palaces, the fairytalish Moritzburg castle, and the astonishing mountains of sandstones. We even saw the bust of Jose Rizal in the quaint town of Litomerice. And what made this experience fantastic was our guide/driver Peter. We learned a lot of Czech history from him. He really knows his stuff! This sidetrip actually became the highlight of our trip. Thanks a bunch Peter!
We had a great time. Sarka, our guide, was awesome in guiding us through the palace and Dresden. She really turned our travel day into a memorable experience. This sure beat a normal train ride!
Peter is great. Knowledgeable with the history of each of the places we've been to. Actually both the guides on both our trips are really impressive and I wouldn't think twice to use sidetrip again for my future travels. More power to the Sidetrip team!
A great way to make the most of a travelling day... Enables you to see some things along the way. Particularly pleased about seeing Dresden, and the National Park was also spectacular. Our guide Peter was very helpful in every way possible.
The stops along the way were well chosen, allowing us to see more of Germany than we would have just travelling by public transport. Peter was an excellent guide, the perfect balance between informative and friendly. We made good friends with the other couple on the bus which was an added bonus. We would highly recommend Side trip.
What a great way to travel one way and make the most of your trip! The Saxon Switzerland stop to see amazing cliffs and the wonderful walk around Dresden were a perfect way to spend the day. Peter was a knowledgeable and personable guide!
We had such a fantastic trip with Jakub! My family and I booked a private, one way trip from Berlin to Prague. The trip was such a great way to see more of Germany and Czech Republic. Jakub was a fabulous guide, very knowledgeable, friendly, and we get very grateful to have him! Highly recommend Side Trip tours!
The tour was enjoyable with beautiful stops along with way. Peter was a knowledgeable guide and a safe driver. There were four of us in the van and Peter encouraged fun conversations. We ended up being good friends with the other couple and spent the most time with them in Prague. Highly recommended.

The guide named Peter was very easy going and participants had a great time with this guy. Although there was a gap in age between the participants and each of us had different preference in what we want to see during the tour, Peter was making sure us feeling comfortable with the tour and strived to satisfy every participant. Thank you for the great time!
Nice driver(tourist guy)
Absolutely amazing experience. Very small personal tour group. Had 5 people and Petr was very focused on making sure everyone got to see exactly what they wanted to. His knowledge of Dresden and the Saxony Switzerland made it a very exciting tour. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for the best way to travel from city to city
Our driver/tour guide’s name was Pavlina. She is a very safe and competent driver and was very knowledgeable about the places we stopped at along the way. Pavlina’s grandmother who accompanied us, prepared traditional Czech homemade treats which we ate during out coffee stops. I liked the personal touch! Sidetrip is really to be recommended.
The places in the itinerary that Ms Pavlina brought us there were amazing. We love the stunning views at the Saxon Switzerland Natural Park. At Dresden, we got a chance to know see the stunning Palace there. We wished we could have 1 more there but thanks to Ms Pavlina, she could provide us a good introductions to the place. It definitely made the trip worth the vlaue for. Thanks Side trip and Ms Pavlina.👍
Our guide Peter was great to travel with. He was a very safe driver and provided informative history at the stops taken. The stops were necessary from a drivers perspective due to the long distances, and the stops were short enough to see bare essentials but not long enough to take it all in. Van was spacious and comfortable and air conditioned. It had the capacity to seat 8 passengers (5 comfortably) and the average per trip would be 5-6 people. We however were lucky enough to be the only 2 passengers and had a personalised experience. Thank you Petr
We were looking for ways to travel from Berlin to Prague and discovered Sidetrip from a Google search, We are glad we chose to take this tour! The van was clean, comfortable and had room for our luggage, Our guide, Pavlina was very attentive and informative. We enjoyed talking with her and the other passengers on the trip. Pick up and drop off were both at very convenient locations for us. We left Berlin at 9 AM and arrived in Prague around 7:30 PM. The pace was just right for us; not too slow and not too hectic. Lunch in Dresden and the walk in "Swiss" Elbe Sandstone park were both pleasant and scenic experiences!
We traveled from Prague to Berlin on August 2, 2019 with Pauline- tour guide. This trip was just perfect. It was just 5 people in a confortable bus. The guide Pauline is the the best, answered all questions and more,. She was so accommodating, friendly, open and professional. Also, very knowledgeable. The stops were very strategic in terms of what to see and timing for needed break and a little of bit of walk:
Pav is adorable. She was punctual, friendly, and had a lot of good information about all the sites we visited. The stops are all neat areas with lots to see. If I had to do it again I'd of booked the trip from Berlin to Prague the next day as Berlin didn't flick my bic "Too much traffic" and the train ride was about the same cost and a lot more stress. Our trip took a bit longer than expected due to Berlin traffic which wasn't Pav's fault and she was a real trooper driving in it. Again, do yourself a favor and book Sidetrip for your return as well. Well worth the money and way less stress.
Really worthwhile trip, taking in some nice spots - Dresden is amazing as is the Anglo Swiss park .. the mini bus was very comfortable and our guide, Peter, was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful
The trip from Prague to Berlin was comfortable and fuss free. The tour was great, we really had no idea or knowledge of what to expect but was amazing to see these magnificent views of the countryside of Czech and Germany, city of Litomerice, breath taking view of Elbe Sand stone mountains and majestic view of Old town Dresden. Our tour guide Peter is very patient and willing to accommodate the needs and wants of all the individuals involved in the tour. He was also very informative and shared a lot of information during our ride. . I would recommend the this Bus tour if anyone is thinking of going Prague ~ Berlin or vice visa.
Thanks to Alex, we have a wonderful tour from Prague to Berlin. First, we traveled with a spacious and comfortable van for four of us with four big pieces baggage. Alex is really a cheerful and passionate girl, not only telling us the rich history of the places we visited, but also carefully planning carefully the visit. Actually we did good sharing between Hong Kong and Europe.
Everything was fantastic, the guide, the locations visited, the National Park was amazing! It is such a great way to travel from one place to an other. Thanks for making this possible !
Nice experience seeing other sites along the way between cities. The ride was enjoyable and the tour guide was helpful and friendly. The van used was comfortable. Two suggestions for Sidetrip management; 1) it would have been comforting if you had sent an email a day or two prior to the trip to let us know that the trip was still on. This would have been especially helpful since your website indicated that you might cancel the trip if you did not have enough passengers, 2) alert the people at the pick up location that heir location is in fact a pickup location. We arrived early at the pickup location and it was not clear where the exact location was and upon asking the people at the front desk of the indicated hotel they said they were not aware of anything about Sidetrip; that combined with item 1 left us with an uneasy initial feeling about if the trip was really on or not. But with that said the tour guide showed up on time and as discussed above was very helpful and friendly
Our tour guide Alexandra was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable but what I loved most was how she got our whole group engaged in the experience. Out of the 9 tours I took throughout central Europe this was my favorite. Highly Recommend!
It was a smooth and enjoyable ride especially Jakub, our very nice and helpful tour guide. He is very informative, respectful, and made our experience very enjoying! We would highly recommend this tour to those who are interested!
This was a wonderful trip! It's a must-do! Tereza was over the top perfect! She was very knowledgeable and so sweet!!
Our guide was Peter and had great knowledge about the region and all the locations that we visited. Would recommend this tour as a great way to travel between cities!
Alexandra was very attentive to all details and what we wanted to do. Taking the bus, train or airplane would had missed beautiful Dresden and to us the highlight Sandstones Park. Would definitely recommend it.
Loved our trip from Berlin to Prague. Our driver Sarka was wonderful. We were a little nervous origanally booking this company...but we were extremely pleased. The van was very comfortable and the stops we made were places we would not have normally gone to see on our own. Book this company with confidence. Professional and prompt!
We had an amazing 10-hour one-way driving tour from Berlin to Prague. We stopped in places most international tourists don’t find. We learned so much from our wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and funny tour guide, Sarka. She kept us entertained the entire time while safely getting us there in a comfortable van/minibus. And she gave us so much information, we were more than ready to explore Prague on our own. I would highly recommend this tour! We're looking now at the other Side Trip Tours to figure out which ones we can do.
We are very happy we booked this Sidetrip between Berlin and Prague as it was one of our favorite parts of our larger trip! The travel process was easy and comfortable in a van with a small group. We saw beautiful towns and scenery that we would have missed on a train or bus. Plus our guide was amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable about each location and the countries overall. She made sure we were well fed and spent as much time as we wanted at each stop. We would definitely book a Sidetrip in the future!
Travelled on June 13, 2019 from Berlin to Prague with Tereza. It took us long time to get out of Berlin due to traffic jam. Hence the guide decided to drop first stop viz. the castle. She did that without consulting the group. There were only three of us so she could have easily taken a vote. I would have preferred shortening time at other two stops and delaying arrival in Prague than completely dropping the visit to castle. Not sure she told about this as I had dozed off in between but this was important enough for her to wake me up. I realised that she had dropped the first stop only when we were closer to second stop i.e. Dresden and I asked her about it; by then it was too late to do anything about it. Tereza provided good information about each stop and generally about Czech Republic and the region. Her driving was good. Tereza was very helpful. She helped with currency exchange and gave important tips to avoid getting scammed. She booked taxi for me on arrival in Prague to get to my hostel. She even waited until the taxi showed up. I truly appreciate her help.
Using SideTrip tours for my transport from Prague to Berlin was the most convenient, entertaining way I could have chosen! It turned out to just be one other very friendly person on our tour, and our guide Petr was super friendly, hospitable, and informative. I liked the coffee stops, learning about the history of Dresden, and seeing where they filmed the Czech Cinderella! Would highly recommend this tour!
If you were travelling from city to city it's time to take this trip and explore something different, small towns, nature and some historical tips along with a small group adds to your Europe journey the plus you were looking for.
The tour from Berlin to Prague was an interesting way to travel between countries and see sights one would typically miss on a regular bus or train. Our guide Peter was informative and a cool guy. The van was also comfortable with good air-conditioning (a must for hot summer days). I recommend this experience for those looking to spice up their European adventure. Thanks again sidetrip and Peter :)
Pick up on time , Peter drove safe and smoothly. We really enjoy join this sight seeing transfer. We made 4stops along the way to Berlin ; Litomerice, National Park, Dresden and Morirzburg, Arrived Berlin as scheduled, Travelling with Sidetrip made our Europe trip more memorable. Thank you Peter and Sidetrip. 👍👍❤️😍
Alexandra was awesome. It turned out to be just the two of us so she basically gave us a private tour. That made it more flexible in terms of getting around and making impromptu stops. Very knowledgeable about the locations and their history.
This is a great alternative to taking a train between cities. A delightful and informative experience. Our guide, Peter, was very enthusiastic and informative.
Sharka was great tour guide and driver. She maximized time, showed us places that were off the beaten path and explained history in detail.
Sarka, the tour driver was available right before scheduled time. Car comfortably set seven people and luggage was no problem. She showed us everything promised and then more. She is courteous, and well informed.
My husband and I loved this concept and felt that our trip had amazing value. Our guide was very friendly and perceptive in terms of energy level and pacing. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Don't be nervous if this looks like a brand new company. They are just a new branch of a very established, well-reviewed company in Europe.
Rather than use the train or direct transfer, we (4 of us) decided to use the one way tour option. We got to see Dresden and a couple of other interesting stops. Our guide was informative and fun, wasn't hurried and allowed us the time to see what we wanted. Overall a very good option for us.
Our driver Petr met us promptly at the appointed time right outside the door of our AirBnb. He guided us to a roomy and comfortable van which had great air conditioning on a hot day. All the stops were great and added to our trip. We toured at a leisurely pace. Also loved being able to talk to Petr and get to know a little bit more him, and the countries we were visiting from the perspective of a local. At the end of the day, he also gave us extra help as Google was not quite accurate with our destination. Invaluable to have had someone who knew both Czech and English! This was an excellent way to spend what would normally have been only a travel day. We had a great time and would highly recommend this to anyone looking to move from one place to another.
What a great day! We were travelling between Prague and Berlin and we thought we would take Sidetrip tours as a way of seeing the country side on the way. We are so glad we did. We stopped at Litomerice and Dresdon on the way and had a very informative tour of both cities plus also the Moritzburg Castle. Peter our driver and guide was great. Friendly and informative. The vehicles are new, clean and comfortable. All in all, it was a great day and we highly recommend you use this company for your travels .
Our guide Peter was very knowledgeable and did a great job navigating us through the different interesting stops along the way from Prague to Berlin. We learned a lot and enjoyed breaking up the drive.
The tour from Berlin to Prague was such a great way to see the country side and also get to our next spot. Highly recommend doing this especially if you are moving from one spot to another. Much better than sitting on a train. We saw the country side & so much more. Our guide Petr was amazing!! Such a great guy & tour guide.
Wonderful time traveling from Berlin to Prague. Our tour guide, Alex was THE BEST! Everything went so smoothly. Sometimes magical when miraculously a parking place would appear in a overly full parking area! She was informative, fun and enjoyable.
Way better than the train. Very flexible. Van was very large and comfortable. We stopped for breaks when necessary and there was no rush to adhere to the schedule. The group voted what to do and what to skip due to thunderstorms that day. We saw a lot, made several stops and guide “Peter” was very knowledgeable, especially about history of the chez/Slav area. Would do it again.
Value for your money with highly informative very young driver cum guide named Peter. My cousin and I with 3 other passengers were comfortably seated in the van. We visited many great, picturesque, scenic & historical places, quaint villages, unusual rock formations. Dresden was surprisingly beautiful and it is now my favorite city in Germany.
Definitely one of the highlights of my trip. I really enjoyed all of our stops and our conversations. As a solo traveler, it's a great way to interact with other travelers. Really thankful that I got to ride the bus with a very nice family and Petr (our guide).
We took a private tour of Prague-Berlin and truly enjoyed throughout the journey . Our guide Alexandra was brilliant and very helpful. Highly recommended.
Our guide Peter was punctual, knowledgeable, really sociable and nice. Can was spacious and comfortable. Sights enroute were beautiful and picturesque. Great tour. Keep up the good work and add more circuits.
I know there may not be a bunch of reviews yet, but if you're thinking of booking this, do it! I thought this would be better than taking a regular bus and I was right. We got to see a bunch of spots many people never get to see. I got to learn a bunch of niche/lesser known history about the places and got some great views of the countryside from our stops. The tour guides were great because this was very casual conversation and i appreciated this because I was pretty tired and enjoyed how relaxing the atmosphere and travels were. It felt like hanging out with old friends or classmates or something. I recommended this to my friends and would recommend for other people. In the future, I'll probably check out their day trips and other transit tours because it's better than just seeing nothing for hours on a coach bus. Also the car looked new and safe and for some people that's important, too so there you go.
Reasonably priced, well thought out way of getting from Prague to Berlin. Definitely saw some sites that we otherwise never would have taken the time to see in our lifetimes (most likely). Triin and her assistant, Alexandra, were great and made it an enjoyable experience. The bus was full for us, but never felt cramped and had plenty of room for luggage. Would definitely consider other tours like it between other cities.
Our guide, Petr was terrific - very attentive to our group, knowledgeable of the area and local history/culture as a native Czech (with excellent English, btw). I had good, reliable communication, etc with Sidetrip during the booking process.
We had a great time on this tour. Triin was our tour guide and she was fantastic. We were spoiled as we had her all to ourselves so we got lots of attention. She knew all about all the places we stopped, had great suggestions for restaurants, etc and was very fun and engaging for the whole day. Would definitely recommend!
We would like to thank our great guide Teresa who is a nice helpful person. She brought us to all the above places without delay and explain in details about all the historical places. All the places are so great, especially the Elbe Sandstone Mountain. The view is superb! I m sure we wouldn’t go on our own if we do not follow this trip. Thank you so much. I would strongly recommend anyone who is going from Berlin to Prague. 👍🏻
What a great way to spend your day traveling from Prague to Berlin. Our guide took us to fascinating spots and told us about the history and points of interest. A great day!
My best friend and I had a REALLY wonderful time! We are so glad that we went on this tour!
I found out about this tour in Berlin and decided to travel with them to Prague. Great way to travel to another city, seeing those sights you would normally miss if you were using public transport. I highly recommend this tour..
I had a great trip between Berlin and Prague. Our guide did a very good job. Very interesting to get deeper into the history and geography of both countries. Very good tour. That day i also met lovely people :)
Overall experience was fantastic - what a great way to travel between two places and fit a bit more into your trip. Our tour guide was amazing, she was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour - throwing in hilarious little bits of information here and there along with all the great historical facts. The places we stopped were also great - lunch was really tasty. There didn’t seem to be too many stops or too few, just perfect.
A great day with our guide, just the right mix of travel, sightseeing and history. He also picked a great place to stop for lunch. This is such a brilliant way to travel from A to B while also enjoying sights you probably wouldn't usually see along the way.
The trip was amazing! Everything was well organised and you got a chance to go and explore at each location. The guide was great fun and really got to know each member of our group which made the journeys in between much more fun. He was extremely informative but kept things short and simple rather than drowning on. You got a real VIP feeling to every location we visited. The guide knew all the best spots for photos and even the best places to grab a coffee/snack. The locations along the tour are beautiful! You get a full sense of being off the beaten track, seeing things the normal travelers don't!
The Prague - Berlin Tour is absolutely the best way to get from Prague to Berlin (or the other way)! We got to see so many cool places that we wouldn't have had a chance to visit otherwise. Our guide, was a front of information about the history. I highly recommend this tour!
Fantastic trip, with amazing stops and an even better guide. I've seen things I would have never seen in my life otherwise, and our guide was clearly knowledgeable and had a good spirit and sense of humor, which made everything worthwhile. I would say the price was just right for the trip. :)
If you move from one capital to the next, we do recommend this daytrip in a small group with highly skilled and very friendly guide and driver. You visit interesting highlights, historical sights, have a good lunch and enjoy the landscape.
Our guide was well informed and very informative and entertaining. The trip was inteeesting in terms of content and we had luck with the weather. So, all in all a very nice experience!
We did the Berlin - Prague and Prague - Vienna tours and they were both fantastic. Long days but we visited lots of places that would have been difficult to get to on our own. The guides were friendly and very knowledgable and the atmosphere with such a small group (maximum 8 people) was great. Plenty of space in the back of the van for luggage. Would definitely book another tour with this company.
It was interesting to visit the different sights and hearing stories about how the places and history came about.
This tour beats any boring bus or airplane ride. Our guide was full of local knowledge and has a nice sense of humor too. Many interesting stops on the way. I can highly recommend using Talinn Traveller to travel between Berlin and Prague (or vice versa). Thanks!
It was a fantastic trip. Our guide was great and we saw places that we wouldn’t normally see.
This is the best Prague to Berlin tour on the market. Great stopovers at all the major sights along the way and a friendly guide to answer all the questions you ever had (and more). Highly recommend this tour!
The tour was fantastic but the guide made it outstanding. He was fresh ( despite doing the same thing several times a week ) and enthusiastic. Despite his young age, he was accomplished, funny and creative. The day was so well organized - a treat.
Extremely knowledgable guide, very interesting and engaging. She also had a great sense of humour. This tour packs a lot into one day and the time flies by as you travel from one site to the next. Well done to this company, they’ve really got it right👍🏻
I took two different tours with these folks. Both were so reasonably priced, I was amazed how much bang I got for my buck. I absolutely recommend it.
Great range of stops and sights. Informative and entertaining tour guide. Everything was magnificent . Best tour guide I've ever had.
When me and a friend reserved a place on this tour, we expected it to be pretty commercial and impersonal, however a good alternative to taking the standard bus from Prague to Berlin. It was one of the highlights of our overall trip. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody wanting to experience the more hidden parts of these two beautiful countries.
My sister and I opted to take a scenic van tour from Berlin to Prague instead of flying or a bus, and we are so extremely happy we did! Our tour guides were absolutely fantastic and we were blown away by how knowledgeable they were on the history of each town we visited.
I would definitely recommend everyone to travel with them! Guide was professional and managed to take care of the little kids and elderly people on the group (8 people), I was impressed. And the stops were incredibly beautiful, especially the views on the Elbe mountains.
I absolutely enjoyed my time during this trip. My favourite spot on the way was the “Wehlsteinaussicht” with its breathtaking views - you can really get lost in nature, as you marble at the strikingly beautiful countryside. I loved visiting Dresden as well. If you love history and you’re a fan of stunning architecture, this place is a MUST DO! It was just fabulous and makes me want to come back for more!
This trip was fantastic! The group size was perfect - it allowed for individual attention from the guide and I met great new people as well. The guide was wonderful! Very well informed, witty and entertaining - really made for a great experience! This was my second trip with Sidetrip Tours and I will definitely travel with them again.
I was going to take a direct bus to Berlin from Prague but when I searched for options I found this tour and decided to take it. I’m so happy I did as it is by far the best way to get to Berlin as you get to see so much on the way and learn the funny but also educational stories from our Czech guide. I would never have seen or learnt so much if I did the route on my own and I also become friends with my fellow travellers so this tour was really one of the highlights of my Eurotrip.
Definitely better than flying!
All our tour guides are young educated locals so the tours feel more like discovering with a local friend.
With us you'll explore the highlights, but also experience authentic less-discovered destinations.
We want everyone to get personal attention from the guide so we aim to keep our groups rather small.
