We booked a private tour for our one way travel from Prague to Vienna. This was by far the best experience we could have had. Alex was our very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. She picked us up from our AirBNB on time and we immediately knew we would enjoy our tour together. She made sure that we got the most out of our time together. We were so happy to see much more than we would have had we just taken the train to Vienna. We will from now on look to see if this type of travel is available for all our future trips!
Zuzana is an awesome guide. She is very caring and attentive. From the beginning, she made sure we were comfortable and tried to make sure we were on schedule. She was very informative on each stop of the tour. She gave us a great overview of each place we went to. I really like the way she interacted with the whole group and giving us tips which beer or food to order. She is wonderful tour guide. We were so lucky to have her. She is also thought about our comfort - like dropping us off to find parking. It was cold that day. Despite the weather not cooperating, we had a great time. Also i wanted to tell you how much i appreciated this service - one way sightseeing tour. it gave us an opportunity to see stuff along the way instead of being in the train. This one way tour gave us a chance to see parts of Czechoslovakia and Germany. We enjoyed the food and the beer along the way. Overall, it was great experience. more power to your company and wish you the best.
It was a good sidetrip to maximise your day otherwise wasted on a long commute. Though the weather was really gloomy, but we have a guide which makes the trip pleasant enough.
We had a compatible group of 7 and a very personable and knowledgeable guide. Traffic cut some of our sightseeing time short, but the guide made an effort to at least show us most of the sights on the route, although it had gotten dark by then.
Muy buena experiencia , el guía excelente. Me encanto !!
Our guide, Alex is friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be with. The entire trip is amazing!
The trip was just as advertised. Very happy with it overall! Our guide was fun and knowledgeable and seemed like a friend by the end of the day.
We had a very pleasant trip with Theresa, The countryside is very nice during the autumn and the stopovers in the different cities are quiet enjoyable, although there is not much time to do a proper visit. In any case this option to move between Prague and Munich is 10x better that train, bus or airplane.
Alex was a wonderful guide. Her vivacious personality was infectious and we really enjoyed hearing about her country of origin and customs. She was very knowledgeable about the area in which we traveled and shared information about our stops and went above and beyond to ensure we learned much on our trip. She was a very safe driver and never lost her cool in heavy traffic. Thanks Alex for a very memorable excursion!
My wife and I joined five other travelers for our trip from Prague to Munich led by Petr. In fact Petr was a friendly, relaxed guide and driver and provided interesting history and insights relevant to our visits to Karlstejn Castle, Pilsen and Regensburg. Lunch at the brewery in Pilsen was very good. The van was comfortable and the stops were frequent enough to avoid boredom or too many stiff joints.
This was a brilliant way to squeeze some extra sights in to our Prague & Berlin holiday! Much more fun than just taking the train. Our guide Jakub was excellent, informative, friendly and helpful at all stages of the trip. The vehicle was comfortable. For me the best bit was the stunning Basei Bridge and surrounding countryside, but Jacob's obvious love of history made Dresden a delight. Highly recommended!
Nice, leisurely drive from Prague to Berlin. Pleasant stop at Litomerice. Moritzburg was a beautiful stop. Warm, sunny weather brought out the crowds. On to Dresden where we had lunch and walked around to see the major sites. Since we couldn’t stop at the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, Peter offered to drop us off at our hotels in Berlin. Great drive
This was such a fun way to travel between cities...much better than bus or train. Peter, our driver/guide was right on time, and our group of 7 was fun. Made three stops for sightseeing, and Peter was very knowledgeable about the history of the areas. Highly recommended!
Petr was a great tourguide. We enjoyed his humorous stories and insights. Aside from telling us about the various places we visited, he shared his experiences growing up in the Czech Republic and how he came to be an English speaking tourguide. The stop in Plzen was a highlight. The unfiltered Pilsner Urquell was delicious and a real treat. The stop in Regensburg was nice, though a little rushed. Enjoyed the history and the story about the “race” to build the bridge and cathedral. A lot of driving, but some good stops!
Had so much fun on our sightseeing tour! Was met with a comfortable minivan and Alex who was an amazing guide (and driver). Having such a small group, we got to know our fellow travelers, and Alex took great care of us. Please note that the sites you can visit depends on time (we weren't able to visit Mikulov as we were running a bit behind) but we were notified this might be the case due to the large size of our group that day, and we were given a choice of which place we would rather go. Over all such a great experience with great guides - would definitely recommend!
Peter is a great guide. Experienced and knowledgeable. He was sensitive to his passengers and respectful to their needs.
The guide really added the value to our tour.
Enjoyable and see things you otherwise won’t see
The tour took us from prague to munich with a couple stops on the way. We got a brief history of the castle while looking at it from afar. The beer museum was interesting and the food there was really good. The last stop was a church and bridge that was beautiful. If I would have taken any other transportation I never would have seen these places. He was able to drop us off at our stop which was on the way
This was definitely a much better way to travel from Prague to Berlin. Don't expect to have a lot of time at each stop, but it's still better than sitting on a train/bus for four hours. Dresden is an amazing city - I absolutely want to go back and see more! We unfortunately couldn't get to the national park because it was a nice day and everyone in the country decided they wanted to visit too! Still, Peter made the day lovely and had great anecdotes for many places we visited. I would definitely recommend this to friends, and would choose to travel this way again in future!
We were going to get the train but opted to see more on the way from Prague to Vienna. So glad we did as very little tourists and we had a good laugh in the minibus. Highly recommend for something different.
Alex was very personable and well informed about our trip and the sights we were visiting. Talking with her on the drive was also really interesting as that gave us more time visiting with a "local" then we would have otherwise. The trip was a great route, excellent sights, and everything was low key yet professional. We aren't usually the type to go on a tour on vacation, and instead plan our own travels, but this was the perfect way to get from Point A to Point B while seeing some sights we would've otherwise missed. Highly recommend!!
On time pickup. Dependable customer service. Comfortable ride. Fun, bubbly, patient and accommodating guide (thanks Alex!) A Sidetrip that should be a main part of any Prague to Berlin trip!
Thank you, Alex for a wonderful trip! We loved the stops along the way from Prague to Vienna. Alex was funny, patient and a safe and wonderful driver! She took the time to explain things along the way and provided us some historical information of the places we stopped.
This trip combines travel with some sightseeing and if you need to get from one place to another not too far away this beats the train or flying. Our driver and guide Alexandra was efficient, competent, knowledgeable and friendly. We felt more like being a part of a family than a business. The places visited provided a good cross-section of what was available - given the limitations of time and route, while our guide was full of information and patiently answered all our questions. Highly recommended.
I recently enjoyed a Czech immersion experience trough a Prague to Vienna tour. First and enjoyed the camaraderie from fellow travelers with whom we shared this experience. Our tour guide also did a great job sharing her knowledge of Czech culture and being multi-lingual was a bonus! Although it took the whole day, we did not see the time go by and in the end, I was left wanting more!! Would recommend this tour!
It was a great experience!! We love it and Peter our guide was FANTASTIC!!!!
The bus tour was very comfortable and being in a small tour group is very nice. We got to meet some fellow travelers that were great. Our tour guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. Was nice to see parts of Czechoslovakia and hear about them rather than just travel from point a to b.
I enjoyed the friendliness of the guide and the knowledge she shared. The sites were amazing. We got more than our money's worth.
My family has not stopped talking about how happy we are that we booked this tour. At first we were just going to take the train, but then we thought, why waste all of that sightseeing time! We booked a private tour and Our guide, Pav, was amazing. She knew so much about the places we visited. She was born to do this! Highly recommend this tour!!!
Myself my wife and two daughters decided to take the oneway Sidetrip tour from Prague to Berlin. What a surprise. Coffee at the pick up point was excellent .Our guide was informative along the way and very knowledgeable about all the places that we visited. We stopped at the Bastei rock formation.Well worth the breathtaking views before heading into Dresden for a tour of the city and Lunch. Then onto the Moritzburg castle. We thoroughly recommend the tour.
Our tour was with Sarka from Prague to Berlin and although it was raining it was the perfect way to travel and we enjoyed all of the stops. We learned a lot and the whole experience was smooth, fun and educational. Keep in mind your guide is also your driver so there’s plenty of time between stops to ask questions and learn more about sights. Would definitely do again!
Great way to go from city to city. A relaxing pace at the sites we stopped at and opportunity to see the countryside while someone else does the driving. Our guide Jakub was fantastic and a really nice guy. We wish there were more cities on the itineraries. We would use them more often.
fantastic time we had on this side trip tour ! we had a great time although there was a festival and we couldn’t get to the castle but our guide jakub was such a darling and accommodated to all of our requests. he also ensured we didn’t have to walk too much as i had my elderly parents with me. we were lucky to be the only people on the tour so it pretty much felt like a private tour but jakub made it so much better, with his thoughtfulness and wonderful service. he was very flexible with the timing, ensured we were comfortable and made it such a great day to travel with him. thank you!
My wife and I recently traveled from Prague to Vienna with Suzana. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend taking a Sidetrip if you're traveling longer distances between European cities. There are some amazing places and sights we would have missed if we had flown to our destination and experiencing the journey with someone from the region allowed us to learn about the area, culture and food. Thanks for making our trip that much more interesting and enjoyable!
The private tour from Prague to Bratislava was the highlight of my trip! Alexandra was an amazing guide; she was fun, engaging, and knowledgable. I loved seeing the towns of Kunta Hora and Brno, touring the grounds of Lednice Palace, and experiencing a wine tasting at Holanek Vineyard in the Moravian region. Alexandra took care of all the details and even provided umbrellas when it rained; she was extremely helpful by providing suggestions for things to do in Bratislava. The door-to-door service made the logistics easy. I will definitely be taking another tour with this company when I need to travel between European cities. Thank you Triin and Alexandra for making this a memorable experience!
My wife and I had a wonderful one-way trip from Prague to Vienna. Our driver and guide Susana was very familiar and knowledgeable of the sites. We visited Kutna Hora, St Barbara Cathedral, Brno (tasted Burchak :-)), Tisnov, Lednice castle along the way. Susan was very accommodating. Since it was a private journey for us, she even took us to Mendel's pea garden in Brno based on my wife's request (she is a geneticist). Overall, we had a great time to experience the beautiful wine country of Moravia. Susan was very very warm, caring, approachable. She was patient in answering our non-stop questions. Susana is not on the list of guides in the drop-down, however, please convey our heartfelt thanks to her!!
Convenient, easy, and worry-free way to travel from Prague to Munich. The tour started at 9am and we made it into Munich by about 6pm (this can very on the traffic just so you know)! We were there during Oktoberfest so it was busy but our guide did a great job driving. It made it very easy to turn a travel day into a day of exploring. We stopped at Karlstejn Castle (closed Mondays so we just took photos from the outside), brewery tour and a Pilsner in Plzn, and then a quick view of the church and bridge in Regensburg (get the sausages by the bridge!). Ended up dropping us in the center of Munich where it was easy to grab public transport to get to our accommodation. Thanks to our guide! You were great.
I was booked on this very small group tour that ended up being cancelled the day before it was scheduled for on Monday, July 8, 2019, becasue the other passengers had cancelled out, but then Triin Magi at Sidetrip stepped up to the plate. Triin listened to my disappointment of this tour bus being cancelled since it was my lifelong dream to visit my dad's country of Slovakia and I had set my heart on this tour bus that would be a tour from Prague down to Bratislava. Triin arranged for me to take a train down to Bratislava and to be met by the most wonderful tour guide ever, whose name is Gabriela. Gabriela was right there at the train station and she took me on the best private tour from Bratislava up to Ledniche (the village of my surname), and all around the surrounding areas. My camera had broken and Gabriela was ever so kind to take all the photos I wanted on her own camera for me to not miss these special memories to share with my own family and friends in the U.S. after my return. I would highly recommend using Sidetrip for any all all of your travel excursions and please do ask for Gabriela when you are heading to Bratislava, she absolutely goes above and beyond in her tours and is extremely professional yet at the same time very easy to speak with and relate too. Thank you all at Sidetrip for making this such a special trip for me!! Gratefully and Joyfully, Pamela L.
We enjoyed this travel, it feels like being in a roadtrip with your friends. All the stops have something special, places are beautiful and quiet. We were 4 and joined this trip from Munich to Prague. Everything was as expected, we meet other friendly guys from Australia and US in this tour. Highly recommended, it´s good way to travel to other city.
Best way to spend a day knowing interesting places instead of wasting your time waiting in airports or trains stations. I could notice than Alex, our tour guide, is a helpful person by nature. She loves what she does.
Best way to spend a day knowing interesting places instead of wasting your time waiting in airports or trains stations.
Good value for travelling between cities. Without sidetrip, stops along the way would have required separate day trips. Enough time to visit sites and reach destination on time
try this ture
Peter was amazing as a tour guide! He was a great a conversationalist and educated us on a lot of Czech and Slovakian history. It was truly a pleasure! He also recommended great places for us to eat lunch and dinner at. The stops were also super fun! We stopped at Kutna Hora and Brno and got to experience the local culture for sometime. We also had a chance to check out the summer family residence of the Leichtenstein family and taste some of the local wine and burcak! Bratislava didn't have much to experience, so if you have the opportunity to go from Bratislava to Prague, this is highly recommended, not the route we picked. But otherwise super fun!
I am usually not very fond of organized tours, and hate not having the freedom to visit what I want, when I want it when it comes to traveling. However, I really enjoyed the Sidetrip tour from Prague to Vienna. Not only did it bring me from point A to point B in a comfortable, efficient way, but it also allowed me to visit interesting spots along the way. As a woman traveling solo, I welcomed the company of a small group of people, and the safe transit the tour provided. Our guide Gabriela was lovely, full of interesting info on the region and went above and beyond to help me find a vegetarian restaurant for lunch. If you're looking for a very structured, formal, history-packed tour - this isn't it. But if you're looking for a chill, carefree way to transit between two major cities while throwing in a few sightseeing stops, I highly recommend!
Thanks to Pavlina, we have a wonderful tour awesome knowledgeable speaks fluent English Very friendly, helpful and she takes care for all small details
Pavlina was the star of the tour, she went all the way to make us feel so comfy n relax, this is totally different experience from all the other tour. Pavlina is so knowledgeable and easy going, I really enjoyed the Sidetrip, I think it is a very good idea instead of just hop on to another bus to another town. Good going!
El servicio fue excelente, las guías muy amables, los lugares de visita bien seleccionados, lo que permitió que el viaje fuera en partes, por lo mismo menos cansado y sobre todo la oportunidad de conocer interesantes lugares.
When it comes to sightseeing tours, I think it's the Guide more than the Geography, and the People more than the Places. Alex did a wonderful job with the low-pressure tour up to Berlin. She answered our questions, was flexible with the groups' interests, and handled a tough traffic situation getting through Berlin well. If and when we're in Europe again, we'd happily go a Sidetrip tour to go between cities. Thanks Alex - whatever you're paid, you deserve a raise! :)
It was an amazing trip to Vienna, got stuck in traffic for awhile but Alexandra was really good at keeping us enterained and made the trip exciting. The highlight of the trip was the visit to the Family Vineyard. Wasn't expecting to taste those amazing wines. Keep up the good work and Kudos to you and your team Sidetrip. Already recommended you guys to our friends and relatives. Cheers!
Our guide (sarka) was fantastic - friendly and informative. Little extras like traditional Czech biscuits were lovely. Could not recommend highly enough.
Everything was great, with the exception of Karlstejn Castle being closed on Mondays. Sasha (Alexandra) our driver was an excellent guide!
The guide named Peter was very easy going and participants had a great time with this guy. Although there was a gap in age between the participants and each of us had different preference in what we want to see during the tour, Peter was making sure us feeling comfortable with the tour and strived to satisfy every participant. Thank you for the great time!
We had an awesome time on our side trip and are so glad we went this route instead of taking the train. It was awesome to share stories with our guide, hear the history that he knew about the sites we visited, and we had the added bonus of meeting another lovely couple traveling with us. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience, my mum loved it. The tour guide provided a very personalised experience and atmosphere which allowed my mum and the group to bond and thoroughly enjoy the journey. She's looking forward to another sidetrip very soon out from Budapest this time.
Our driver/tour guide’s name was Pavlina. She is a very safe and competent driver and was very knowledgeable about the places we stopped at along the way. Pavlina’s grandmother who accompanied us, prepared traditional Czech homemade treats which we ate during out coffee stops. I liked the personal touch! Sidetrip is really to be recommended.
Sarka, our wonderful driver and tour guide, was truly wonderful and so knowledgeable -- she went above and beyond to accommodate us and she shared so much about the history of both Prague and Munich on our way. She was the key to our wonderful experience hands-down!!!
The places in the itinerary that Ms Pavlina brought us there were amazing. We love the stunning views at the Saxon Switzerland Natural Park. At Dresden, we got a chance to know see the stunning Palace there. We wished we could have 1 more there but thanks to Ms Pavlina, she could provide us a good introductions to the place. It definitely made the trip worth the vlaue for. Thanks Side trip and Ms Pavlina.👍
We loved this trip! Peter is a great guide.
Petr was great. He cared a lot about us having a good experience. I only wish we had more time to explore - though I realize this would not be possible to do in a single day.
Great travel experience, better than flying - Paulina our guide was very knowledgeable and made our trip fun and interesting; Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time with this experience! It’s an fantastic way to see a several areas of Germany and Prague that you may not see other ways. Peter was a terrific guide giving us lots of history on the sights we saw and the travel was a breeze. I could have done without the beer museum since there seemed like other places we could have seen in Pilsen instead but overall, great trip! Prague castle was fascinating and loved seeing Regensburg as well!
We really enjoyed our Sidetrip from Prague to Vienna. We had three great stops, learnt a lot from our guide and in particular loved the wine tasting! Highly recommend as a fun way to get from a to b.
Alex was a lovely (and very safe) driver and tour guide, and not only did we learn a bit about every sight that we visited, we also got to chat about the politics, day to day life, and other issues that relate to those living in Eastern Europe. Alex was friendly, always kind and patient, and very easy to get along with in general. My parents are usually the restless types but this SideTrip kept their attention the whole time (that being said, the ride was so peaceful, we all definitely took a well deserved nap in between meals, too). Extra note: My family is vegetarian and Alex is, too, which was great because she had the perfect restaurant recommendations for lunch!
Pavlina was incredibly friendly and has a great sense of humour. She was very knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited and shared Czech customs with us (the Easter tradition was particularly memorable). Overall, a lovely day and way to travel. We saw more sites than we would have otherwise and throughly enjoyed the company of the other people we shared the journey with.
We traveled from Prague to Berlin on August 2, 2019 with Pauline- tour guide. This trip was just perfect. It was just 5 people in a confortable bus. The guide Pauline is the the best, answered all questions and more,. She was so accommodating, friendly, open and professional. Also, very knowledgeable. The stops were very strategic in terms of what to see and timing for needed break and a little of bit of walk:
This is the first time we try a one way trip and it sure beats the usual ride from A to B which would have been a boring journey to reach the destination. The Prague - Munich journey took us to Karlštejn Castle for a scenic break. Lunch break was at Pilsen where we also visited the brewery museum. We continued on to Regensburg Cathedral and took a tour of the town. These are places which we wouldn't normally have gone as they are out of our way. Taking this trip was a good decision! Our guide Petr was knowledgeable and a safe driver. My family had an enjoyable journey.
Pav is adorable. She was punctual, friendly, and had a lot of good information about all the sites we visited. The stops are all neat areas with lots to see. If I had to do it again I'd of booked the trip from Berlin to Prague the next day as Berlin didn't flick my bic "Too much traffic" and the train ride was about the same cost and a lot more stress. Our trip took a bit longer than expected due to Berlin traffic which wasn't Pav's fault and she was a real trooper driving in it. Again, do yourself a favor and book Sidetrip for your return as well. Well worth the money and way less stress.
We took the Prague Vienna tour and Sarka was a fantastic guide Very nice knowledgeable and accomdative Excellent English speaking
Thanks SideTrip for the car and guide it was amazing experience for us, Would recommend this to many of my colleagues
The trip from Prague to Berlin was comfortable and fuss free. The tour was great, we really had no idea or knowledge of what to expect but was amazing to see these magnificent views of the countryside of Czech and Germany, city of Litomerice, breath taking view of Elbe Sand stone mountains and majestic view of Old town Dresden. Our tour guide Peter is very patient and willing to accommodate the needs and wants of all the individuals involved in the tour. He was also very informative and shared a lot of information during our ride. . I would recommend the this Bus tour if anyone is thinking of going Prague ~ Berlin or vice visa.
Thanks to Alex, we have a wonderful tour from Prague to Berlin. First, we traveled with a spacious and comfortable van for four of us with four big pieces baggage. Alex is really a cheerful and passionate girl, not only telling us the rich history of the places we visited, but also carefully planning carefully the visit. Actually we did good sharing between Hong Kong and Europe.
Everything was fantastic, the guide, the locations visited, the National Park was amazing! It is such a great way to travel from one place to an other. Thanks for making this possible !
Our tour guide Alexandra was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable but what I loved most was how she got our whole group engaged in the experience. Out of the 9 tours I took throughout central Europe this was my favorite. Highly Recommend!
It was a smooth and enjoyable ride especially Jakub, our very nice and helpful tour guide. He is very informative, respectful, and made our experience very enjoying! We would highly recommend this tour to those who are interested!
This was a wonderful trip! It's a must-do! Tereza was over the top perfect! She was very knowledgeable and so sweet!!
Our guide was Peter and had great knowledge about the region and all the locations that we visited. Would recommend this tour as a great way to travel between cities!
Had a wonderful trip from Prague to Vienna thanks to Sidetrip and our unbelievable guide Gabriela. Met amazing company on the tour as well. Wish we had more time to take other tours, too. Heard from others that they are excellent. Highly recommend any of the trips Sidetrip Tours offers.
Our guide, Petr, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. This was a really enjoyable way to spend the day and a terrific way to see some more parts of the Czech Republic along the way to Vienna. We enjoyed the drive and were really glad to have Petr’s insights and commentary along the way. Thank you for the great tour!
We booked the SideTrip tour from Prague to Munich & I would do it again in a heartbeat! It was a great way to travel from one place to another and still see the sights along the way. We stopped at a castle in Prague where we got to explore, went to the town of Pilsen in Czech Republic to eat a real Czech meal and tour the beer museum (& enjoy a beer at the end of the tour) and stop at Regensburg Germany to explore and see one of the famous cathedrals. It was a really awesome way to make traveling go by quickly (I think the most we spent in a vehicle at one time was 1 hr 45 min). Our tour guide Peter was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. I would absolutely book this tour again!
Jacob is a good and caring tour guide. We enjoyed the trip very much and will recommend friends to this tour.
I enjoyed very much my Sidetrip tour with Gabi as a guide. She showed us places I wouldn’t have seen unless I rented a car. We were are group of 7 tourists that got along very well so somehow new friendships were born during this trip. I also loved that Gabi explained ya about the places we were stopping g at, some of their history and customs. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see more of Czech on their way to Vienna
Loved our trip with Peter. We used Sidetrips to get from Berlin to Prague and then to Vienna. Both trips were perfect. Peter was a wonderful guide and we enjoyed every minute of this journey. The bone church in Kunta Hora was amazing. Saw sights we would never have booked on our own. Highly recommend this company and would definitely book them again!
We booked a tour from Prague to Munich. It was a 10 hours drive including sightseeing. I did not feel spending a lot of time sitting in the car only. We visited couple beautiful places and our tour guide also brought us to a popular hot dog place. Overall experience is great. Highly recommended.
I visited Kutna Hora, Lednice and Valtice palaces which are amazing and also Mikulov, unfortunatelly we could not visit Brno because of the traffic. Nevertheless, the tour was pretty good, Tereza is from Czchek Republic, she knows the places and she has travelled a lot, so she definetely has good stories to tell
Using SideTrip tours for my transport from Prague to Berlin was the most convenient, entertaining way I could have chosen! It turned out to just be one other very friendly person on our tour, and our guide Petr was super friendly, hospitable, and informative. I liked the coffee stops, learning about the history of Dresden, and seeing where they filmed the Czech Cinderella! Would highly recommend this tour!
The tour from Berlin to Prague was an interesting way to travel between countries and see sights one would typically miss on a regular bus or train. Our guide Peter was informative and a cool guy. The van was also comfortable with good air-conditioning (a must for hot summer days). I recommend this experience for those looking to spice up their European adventure. Thanks again sidetrip and Peter :)
Timely, great value, not rushed, great small group, new friends, comfortable, awesome stops, great host, safe driving, knowledgeable - the only way to travel between European cities!
I was expecting a large bus with a lot of people, but it was actually just my friend and I plus one family of 3 in a van. It was very personalized, and our tour guide Gabriela made sure we always had everything we needed. We stopped at 5 great places, which is also more than I expected. We also had the awesome bonus of having a professional photographer document our day! The only comment I would add is that the experience can vary greatly based on who the other group on your trip is.

Small group! Great guides! Courteous! Funny! Friendly! Caring! Knowledgeable! We do recommend this tour and guide.
Tereza took us on a 10 hour journey from Prague to Vienna with fascinating stops. The Bone Chapel is one not to be missed. We also visited a Czech vineyard and tasted amazing wines!
Pick up on time , Peter drove safe and smoothly. We really enjoy join this sight seeing transfer. We made 4stops along the way to Berlin ; Litomerice, National Park, Dresden and Morirzburg, Arrived Berlin as scheduled, Travelling with Sidetrip made our Europe trip more memorable. Thank you Peter and Sidetrip. 👍👍❤️😍
Alexandra was awesome. It turned out to be just the two of us so she basically gave us a private tour. That made it more flexible in terms of getting around and making impromptu stops. Very knowledgeable about the locations and their history.
This is a great alternative to taking a train between cities. A delightful and informative experience. Our guide, Peter, was very enthusiastic and informative.
I cannot recommend the Prague to Munich trip enough. It certainly ‘kills 2 birds with 1 stone’ as you are travelling to your destination but stopping at beautiful locations along the way. Our guide, Pavlina, made the transfer fun and relaxing. Perfect personality for the role as tour guide. As there were only 3 of us on the journey, she went above and beyond to drop us at our individual hotels. Would love to use Side Trip Tours again in the future.
My husband and I loved this concept and felt that our trip had amazing value. Our guide was very friendly and perceptive in terms of energy level and pacing. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Don't be nervous if this looks like a brand new company. They are just a new branch of a very established, well-reviewed company in Europe.
Fun trip from Prague to Vienna. Saw things we never would have otherwise seen and really enjoyed it. Would do it again in a second.
Rather than use the train or direct transfer, we (4 of us) decided to use the one way tour option. We got to see Dresden and a couple of other interesting stops. Our guide was informative and fun, wasn't hurried and allowed us the time to see what we wanted. Overall a very good option for us.
Taking a Sidetrip tour from Prague-Vienna was truly one of the best decisions we made on our 2 week travels around Europe. Since another couple cancelled their trip at the last minute, we got the car all to ourselves. As such, our wonderful guide, Sarka, allowed us to customize our itinerary a little when she heard that I really wanted to go to Cesky Krumlov. So we managed to see both Kutna Hora and Cesky Krumlov (a different route). So glad Sarka fulfilled my wish!! Sarka was not only great behind the wheels, she was also well-informed and spoke so many languages fluently! I'm glad we decided to take this tour, we not only saved time seeing sights on the way, but also made a great friend!
Petr is a superb, knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide!!!
What a great day! We were travelling between Prague and Berlin and we thought we would take Sidetrip tours as a way of seeing the country side on the way. We are so glad we did. We stopped at Litomerice and Dresdon on the way and had a very informative tour of both cities plus also the Moritzburg Castle. Peter our driver and guide was great. Friendly and informative. The vehicles are new, clean and comfortable. All in all, it was a great day and we highly recommend you use this company for your travels .
Our guide Peter was very knowledgeable and did a great job navigating us through the different interesting stops along the way from Prague to Berlin. We learned a lot and enjoyed breaking up the drive.
Teresa and John were great. They explained the history, old and recent. I would do this again!
Value for your money with highly informative very young driver cum guide named Peter. My cousin and I with 3 other passengers were comfortably seated in the van. We visited many great, picturesque, scenic & historical places, quaint villages, unusual rock formations. Dresden was surprisingly beautiful and it is now my favorite city in Germany.
Definitely one of the highlights of my trip. I really enjoyed all of our stops and our conversations. As a solo traveler, it's a great way to interact with other travelers. Really thankful that I got to ride the bus with a very nice family and Petr (our guide).
We took a private tour of Prague-Berlin and truly enjoyed throughout the journey . Our guide Alexandra was brilliant and very helpful. Highly recommended.
We traveled on an 8 seater van which was fairly spacious and comfortable, and the scenery was beautiful as we cruise along the countryside road. We made stops at the unbelievable bone church of Kutna Hora, Brno, Lednice chateau and a family run winery for wine tasting. We wouldn't have visited these sites had we not taken this tour. The travelling group was small, giving it a personal feel. We arrived at Vienna on time. Overall well run. Keep it up.
Love the sceneries, especially garden at Lednice Castle, along this one way trip to Bratislava. Pav, our tour guide & driver is so helpful. I learned about Chez Republic. She even dropped us off at our hotel at Bratislava due to late arrival. Worth the money.
Our guide Peter was punctual, knowledgeable, really sociable and nice. Can was spacious and comfortable. Sights enroute were beautiful and picturesque. Great tour. Keep up the good work and add more circuits.
My friend and I really enjoyed our tour from Prague to Munich. We stopped at three different attractions along the way which were all very interesting, and our guide did an excellent job explaining the history and fun facts of each place. Our guide was very accommodating and friendly (and a fantastic driver), and we were never rushed and felt safe the whole time. I think it’s a great idea to enjoy the suburbs while on the way to Munich. Would highly recommend !
I recommend the one-way road tour for travelers who seek knowledge about European history and at the sane time cover different cities without going back to where you started. The tour guide (Tereza) has excellent knowledge about the historical connections among the cities of Prague, Munich, Salzburg and Vienna especially with respect to their ancient rulers and musical talents
We had a wonderful day with Sarka on our trip from Prague to Bratislava. The sights were very beautiful and interesting and Sarka was a very nice guide who made sure we were comfortable throughout the long trip and taught us a lot about the region and each of the stops. We definitely recommend taking a Side Trip Tour as an alternative to a train or large bus that allows you to stop and take in lots of more "off the beaten path" sights as you make your way from one major city to the next. Kutna Hora, the Milukov Region, and Lednice were our favorite stops of the day. Thank you!
A wonderful way to travel between Prague and Munich. Vehicle was comfortable and pick up location easy to find. What made the tour particularly good was the guide. We were so impressed with her knowledge and manner. She was able to answer questions on so many subjects! Her driving was excellent. A very impressive person!!
Highly recommend it if you are travelling from Prague to Munich or the other way around! Great way to get from one city to another and see some things on the road+you will learn more about the country and the people. The guide was friendly and knew a lot of stuff, also funny and could answer all our questions. There were 6 of us in the group and this is perfect since there are not too many people. We went on another city tour with this tour operator as well and were very satisfied with it, so I highly recommend travelling with them! All the guides we had were kind, knowledgeable and funny.
I really enjoyed the trip between the two capitals. Our guide did a great job of keeping things informative and fun. I’m happy I rearranged my trip itinerary so that I was able to take this tour. It’s a phenomenal way to see several other towns and cities that you otherwise would’ve missed.
Reasonably priced, well thought out way of getting from Prague to Berlin. Definitely saw some sites that we otherwise never would have taken the time to see in our lifetimes (most likely). Triin and her assistant, Alexandra, were great and made it an enjoyable experience. The bus was full for us, but never felt cramped and had plenty of room for luggage. Would definitely consider other tours like it between other cities.
Our guide, Petr was terrific - very attentive to our group, knowledgeable of the area and local history/culture as a native Czech (with excellent English, btw). I had good, reliable communication, etc with Sidetrip during the booking process.
We had a great time on this tour. Triin was our tour guide and she was fantastic. We were spoiled as we had her all to ourselves so we got lots of attention. She knew all about all the places we stopped, had great suggestions for restaurants, etc and was very fun and engaging for the whole day. Would definitely recommend!
Overall we enjoyed our journey. A great way to commute between 2 cities while visiting places of interest along the way.
The tour was brilliant, we really enjoyed it, the stops were really interesting and the tour guide was really knowledgeable and gave us loads of extra information, also very friendly and funny, we would recommend to anyone wanting to sightsee between Prague and Vienna.
We had a really nice trip with our guide. We had a lot of interesting stops. Along the way we could ask him everything about the history or random questions about the country. He really is a knowledgable guide. Recommended to all travellers, young to old, everyone is welcome.
We enjoyed our day tour from Prague to Munich. Our guide was such a lovely and bubbly person. We were given alot of information at every stop. The stops were all interesting. We stopped for lunch at this amazing place. The food was good and reasonably priced, while the place itself is so beautiful.
An excellent way to travel between Prague and Munich. The stops were all the key must sees. Our tour guide was energetic, informative and fun! I would highly recommend this tour.
What a great way to spend your day traveling from Prague to Berlin. Our guide took us to fascinating spots and told us about the history and points of interest. A great day!
Good value of money to travel from Prague to Vienna, fun and comfortable. Our guide, was very outgoing, nice and passionate. We do enjoy listening to her stories through out the journey.
An excellent day with a knowledgeable and funny guide. Highly recommended! If you’re going from Prague to Bratislava or viceversa it’s a must!
Overall experience was fantastic - what a great way to travel between two places and fit a bit more into your trip. Our tour guide was amazing, she was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour - throwing in hilarious little bits of information here and there along with all the great historical facts. The places we stopped were also great - lunch was really tasty. There didn’t seem to be too many stops or too few, just perfect.
The tour from Prague to Bratislava was amazing! The guides, were very gentle and good prepared! Their presence made the tour even more interesting! I recommend this tour!
Great time and a perfect way to see the sights along the way when traveling from Prague to Vienna. Our guide was fun and engaging and my fellow travelers were great too. All in all, so much better than just taking the scheduled bus between cities.
We had a great day with our guide. She was kind and energetic and ready to answer our questions. The stops along the way were varied, so there’s something everyone can enjoy. The lunch was delicious. Thank you for a lovely day!
The day trip from Prague to Vienna was really great and fun. We left on time and were a nice group of 8 people. Our guide was nice and funny, told us about the stops and the history and answered every question we had. I usually don't book guided tours, but this one was worth it!
Absolutely one of the highlights of my trip! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable! Great experience!
We had an amazing day exploring the country side from Prague to Bratislava. Our guide knew all the good spots and had amazing knowledge during our chats in the car. Seriously no better way to travel between the two Cities.
We wanted to take a regular bus from Prague to Vienna first, but decided to do this tour instead and couldn't be happier about our decision. Our guide was a reasonable and dedicated driver and a hilarious and kind. Thank you for that awesome day!
A great day with our guide, just the right mix of travel, sightseeing and history. He also picked a great place to stop for lunch. This is such a brilliant way to travel from A to B while also enjoying sights you probably wouldn't usually see along the way.
Very good, helpful & knowledgeable guide, very interesting sightseeing stops. Good lunch break, arrived in Bratislava in good time.
My friends and I were travelling from Prague to Vienna so we decided to use the tour. It was definitely one of the best decisions we made. We managed to get to places that we wouldn't have gone on our own. Those were interesting places. ! The tour was definitely worth the time and money !
The trip was amazing! Everything was well organised and you got a chance to go and explore at each location. The guide was great fun and really got to know each member of our group which made the journeys in between much more fun. He was extremely informative but kept things short and simple rather than drowning on. You got a real VIP feeling to every location we visited. The guide knew all the best spots for photos and even the best places to grab a coffee/snack. The locations along the tour are beautiful! You get a full sense of being off the beaten track, seeing things the normal travelers don't!
The Prague - Berlin Tour is absolutely the best way to get from Prague to Berlin (or the other way)! We got to see so many cool places that we wouldn't have had a chance to visit otherwise. Our guide, was a front of information about the history. I highly recommend this tour!
If you move from one capital to the next, we do recommend this daytrip in a small group with highly skilled and very friendly guide and driver. You visit interesting highlights, historical sights, have a good lunch and enjoy the landscape.
What a fantastic way of getting from A to B. I would highly recommend taking the journey between cities. It’s far more interesting that sitting on a train, plane or direct bus.
Just a great tour not to mention an informative and traveler-smart way to get between Prague and Vienna. We saw so many things and just had a wonderful time. It doesn‘t get better than a great tour with a great guide. We really recommend it!
The tour was a combination of education, hilarity, and fun. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great time.
Our guide was well informed and very informative and entertaining. The trip was inteeesting in terms of content and we had luck with the weather. So, all in all a very nice experience!
Initially, I was just going to take an express bus from Prague to Bratislava, but fortunately I stumbled online to this tour. It was fantastic! It was a great value. I had wanted to go to some of these sites and this was the most efficient and cost effective way of seeing them. This is definitely a must!
Would highly recommend these tours. I’m so glad I decided to do this - small group, comfy bus, delicious lunch (not included in price but was not too expensive) and getting to see sites I never would have had time to see if I’d just gone straight between Prague and Vienna! It never felt boring/that we were traveling for too long.
My family LOVED our trip between Prague and Bratislava. The stops were GREAT and made what could have been a boring travel day into a fun adventure! We never would have found the sites we visited on our own, nor would we have learned as much. The van was comfortable and the restaurant where we are at lunch was excellent. Book this trip; you won’t regret it!
Well worth the time and cost
This is probably the best way of getting from Prague to Munich.
This was an enjoyable and extensively informative experience. Our tour guide made the day particularly fun and productive with his enthusiasm and historical/cultural knowledge. He ensured that everyone's questions were amply answered, provided interesting tips and local insights and brought super energy to the group. I would highly recommend this tour bus!
We had a hugely enjoyable trip from Prague to Bratislava. Indeed in some ways it was quite the best day of our holiday! In addition to seeing places we might never otherwise have visited. Thank you Traveller Tours, for a memorable day.
The group got a good insight into the history of the two countries .Ten hours well spent saw plenty.
This is the best Prague to Berlin tour on the market. Great stopovers at all the major sights along the way and a friendly guide to answer all the questions you ever had (and more). Highly recommend this tour!
I enjoyed our group, satisfied with the places we have visited and most of all happy with the driver-guide who is very knowledgeable and accomodating.
Energetic guide, safe ride, good experience!
The tour was fantastic but the guide made it outstanding. He was fresh ( despite doing the same thing several times a week ) and enthusiastic. Despite his young age, he was accomplished, funny and creative. The day was so well organized - a treat.
Extremely knowledgable guide, very interesting and engaging. She also had a great sense of humour. This tour packs a lot into one day and the time flies by as you travel from one site to the next. Well done to this company, they’ve really got it right👍🏻
Amazing. Highly recommended. This is a one way trip on a minibus, takes all day and includes major sights along the way. Absolutely the very best way to travel from Prague to Munich. Great fun, passionate and experienced and knowledgeable guide, brilliant sights. This sightseeing tour allows you to see things along the trip which would be much more complicated and time-consuming to set up from either end.
Great range of stops and sights. Informative and entertaining tour guide. Everything was magnificent . Best tour guide I've ever had.
This whole day trip was the perfect way to get from Prague to Vienna. We got to see many of the great spots on the way as well as try some authentic local treats/cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone who want to get from one city to the other and get to see everything in between. Thank you!
This is an excellent way to get from one city to another and see the sights as well. It was professionally run, well organised and visited interesting spots. The guide was knowledgeable and had a lively outgoing personality. The restaurant where we stopped for lunch served up lovely food at a very reasonable price. Overall, really good value for money.
The tour was super great. We stopped at the most important sites between Prague and Bratislava, saving time and trouble. We were only 8 people in the group, which was perfect for this tour, and we had a fantastic guide. Perfect day with great company.
When me and a friend reserved a place on this tour, we expected it to be pretty commercial and impersonal, however a good alternative to taking the standard bus from Prague to Berlin. It was one of the highlights of our overall trip. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody wanting to experience the more hidden parts of these two beautiful countries.
Very fun and informative way to travel from Prague to Munich. Small groups, friendly fellow-travelers and very nice guide. We visited all the main sights between two cities, everything exceeded our expectation. Would recommend to everyone!
This tour was well worth the time. As newcomers to Central Europe, my friend and I were very excited at every stop of this tour. Each site was unique and interesting, and there was a nice blend of nature, history, and fun attractions.
We had a great time travelling with our guide, we saw lots of different and fantastic places,.Now we have more knowledge about the history of Czech Republic, thank you for all !
When I travel I always look for unique places that are far from the top tourist attractions and really shows you how the locals live and have fun. During the Prague to Vienna trip the guide told us so many fascinating stories about places that I would not have noticed otherwise. Especially Brno - there are so many details to notice!!! I recommend going there and ‘’always look up!’’ :D
We didn’t know what to expect out of a 10 hour tour with total strangers, then the tour made the highlight of our stay, the guide was perfect in creating a lively atmosphere throughout and caring for all our needs. The scenery and the places visited were amazing... highly recommended!
I absolutely enjoyed my time during this trip. My favourite spot on the way was the “Wehlsteinaussicht” with its breathtaking views - you can really get lost in nature, as you marble at the strikingly beautiful countryside. I loved visiting Dresden as well. If you love history and you’re a fan of stunning architecture, this place is a MUST DO! It was just fabulous and makes me want to come back for more!
What an incredible way to experience both Czech Republic and Germany! A fantastic guide, great food (and drinks!) and great laughs. The atmosphere was always fun and friendly. One of the BEST trips I have taken this year and I feel very lucky to have met like-minded people, I now call friends! I’ll definitely come back for another trip very soon.
I am really happy that I took this option. We had the best guide who shared a lot of stories of local life and made so many jokes that still make me laugh when I remember them. My highlight was visiting the Bone Church in Kutna Hora - you cannot find something like that anywhere else!
Great way to get from Prague to Munich. I had so much fun and made new friends on the way. Highly recommended!
I took the tour from Prague to Bratislava and it was fantastic! We had a really fun day and learnt so much from the guide. My favourite was the wine region and the Lednice and Vatice palaces were so beautiful.
I was going to take a direct bus to Berlin from Prague but when I searched for options I found this tour and decided to take it. I’m so happy I did as it is by far the best way to get to Berlin as you get to see so much on the way and learn the funny but also educational stories from our Czech guide. I would never have seen or learnt so much if I did the route on my own and I also become friends with my fellow travellers so this tour was really one of the highlights of my Eurotrip.
All our tour guides are young educated locals so the tours feel more like discovering with a local friend.
With us you'll explore the highlights, but also experience authentic less-discovered destinations.
We want everyone to get personal attention from the guide so we aim to keep our groups rather small.
