Having a private tour from Prague to Budapest was fantastic. No schlepping bags to and from hotel to train. Great to be able to stop at smaller villages along the way. Our tour guide was great!
Absolutely brilliant
This “transfer” from Prague to Budapest was more than we expected. Our driver was more of a guide, stopping at 3 places and she knew her stuff. The stop in Bratislava in particular was a highlight for us. Skip trains, flights and cars, this is the best way to do transfers.

Tour was totally on time. 6 of us in the 8 passenger van. Driver was an excellent driver and would answer any questions sent her way. 2 nice stops enroute with time for lunch.
Smooth informative and fun way to get to Prague from Budapest
We chose Sidetrips to journey from Budapest to Prague. There were 6 people in the vehicle and it was quite comfortable but any more would have been tight. The stops in Bratislava and Lednice were the right amount of time and Dusan was very informative, personable and a very good driver. I definitely recommend this service as a nice way to move between the two cities.
Terrific Day - Perfect Transfer Option
We enjoyed our transfer from Prague to Budapest with Alex and Martin. There were nine of us and lots of luggage but it all fit into two vans and we were very comfortable. We loved Mikulov, an absolutely charming town. Lednice Palace was a beautiful stop, and the cathedral at Gyor was beautiful. Our guides were wonderful and I highly recommend Side Trip Tours if you are looking for a smooth transfer.

Albert was excellent. We felt safe with him driving, and he managed construction and traffic backups very well. His knowledgeable explanations of the sites we visited, their history, changing ownership, various architectural styles, monuments, etc really brought them to life. His lunch recommendation was also excellent. We're very glad we selected Sidetrip and had Albert as our driver/guide.
The best way to get from Budapest to Ljubljana
We were three travellers seeking an interesting and sophisticated experience whilst getting between cities. Levy made the trip exceed any expectations by offering options that fitted our interests and topped it off with his excellent company. If all your guides are of this calibre, your company’s service beats all others. Flexibility in the itinerary was key and we saw things we would never have found ourselves.
